Jim the Mechanic answers your questions

Q: Is there anything I need to do before coming to Bike Day?

A: If you know a part on your bike will need replacing, bring it.

Q: What's the most important thing to maintain on my bike?

A: While it's important to keep your whole bike in tip-top shape, we see two major problems that are both the most commonly overlooked and easiest to remedy. They have potentially far-reaching and expensive consequences if left unattended. These are tire pressure and chain lubrication. Keep your tires inflated to the pressure specified on the tire sidewall. Check pressure every week and fill as necessary. Oil your chain at least once a month.
